Affording Dandelion Montessori

We believe that all children have a right to high-quality Montessori education. We also believe that children and families learn best in a community that celebrates and supports economic, racial and cultural equity. At Dandelion we strive to keep our tuition and auxiliary fees at or below the current rate for our neighborhood. In addition, we offer several tuition assistance options to help families attend Dandelion.

  • Dandelion Tuition Assistance Program: This program is supported by Dandelion and provides tuition assistance based upon family need. Please email admin@dandelionmontessori.org with questions regarding the tuition assistance program. We are accepting requests for tuition assistance for upcoming school year here

  • Somerville Partnership for Young Children Program: This program is supported by Somerville Public Schools and The City of Somerville to provide substantial support for Somerville children to attend Dandelion based upon family need. For more information about the SPYC Program please click here: www.somervillechildren.org

  • EEC state vouchers: We are actively preparing to welcome children through State EEC vouchers. Stay tuned for updates as we finalize the process to make this opportunity accessible to more families in our community.

The child who has felt a strong love for his surroundings and for all living creatures, who has discovered joy and enthusiasm in work, gives us reason to hope that humanity can develop in a new direction.
